No! Travel wherever you want regardless of how many days you have rented our van.
Which is the minimum age to rent a van?
The minimum age to rent a van is 25 years with 2 years driving license experience. There is the possibility of renting it under the age of 25 but meeting two essential requirements. The first is to have a minimum of 2 years of driving license experience and the second is to face an additional payment corresponding to 50% of the value of the current insurance of the van.
How should I clean the van before returning it?
The vehicle is delivered in perfect condition. This is how we would like to receive it. If you rent a portable bathroom, you must empty the dirty water tank in an authorized place. If this is not the case, a surcharge of 100€ will be charged for cleaning. it will be deducted from the deposit.
How do I know if the van is available at the time I would like to rent it?
You can make your reservation and check availability through the booking form that appears at the HOME of the website or in the different sections where the form appears. If you have any problems or queries, do not hesitate to contact us by phone, e-mail or through the web form that you will find in CONTACT.
How can I pay?
We accept different forms of payment. For now, there is the possibility of paying by credit card, making a bank transfer or cash.
When do I have to pay?
At the time of formalizing the reservation a 50% of the total rental must be paid. The remaining 50% will be paid at the time of delivery of the van. Please note that if this payment is made by bank transfer, it must be made well in advance to be received no later than the day of delivery.
When can I pick up the van?
We are flexible with the collection and delivery of the van. By default, collection is from 3pm on the first day of rental and delivery until 1pm on the last day of booking. Anyway, do not hesitate to contact us to make the schedule more flexible.
Can I install child seats?
Yes! On the back seat there is the possibility of installing two child seats as it has an ISOFIX system and Top Tether. In fact, we offer you the possibility to rent highchairs so that you forget about this topic.
How many sleeping places the van has?
The current Volkswagen California Ocean model allows 4 seats to travel. Therefore, the sleeping places are 4.
What do I do in the event of an accident?
If you have a problem, whether it is a breakdown, an accident or a malfunction, please note the following:
- In the event of an accident, take photographs of the damage and fill in the accident sheet on the front glove compartment. Call us directly so we can help you and contact insurance in case towing assistance is needed. Send us all the information to info@oceanvans.com
